It goes without saying that the world we live in feels very much like an episode of Black Mirror. Many of us have fallen on hard times due to current events, and we’re all doing our best to get by. To boost morale, we thought it’d be fun to have a Spring Fashion Fix Challenge!
Over the holiday weekend, I made my second trip to Walt Disney World’s: Galaxy Edge in Hollywood Studios. Upon my first trip, everything had seemed to go wrong. And while I enjoyed my first time in Batuu, I couldn’t do some of the main things I had wanted to explore on the galactic outpost! Such as build a lightsaber or ride the Rise of the Resistance.

For week three of the Fashion Fix challenge, I had a ton of ideas for different characters I wanted to try to embody. Complex female characters are kind of my thing, and happen to be this week’s theme. I thought about nerdy Velma from Scooby Doo. Julia Wicker from The Magicians (which I just finished binge watching and am now going through withdrawals). And finally, one of my favorite TV latinas, Rosa Diaz from Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
