I’ll be honest that I knew basically nothing about Bubble when I started reading.

I knew it was based on a podcast that I hadn’t listened to, and I knew one of the writers Jordan Morris was the co-host of Jordan, Jesse, Go! (which I also hadn’t listened to, whoops), and I knew it was released by the same publisher as The Adventure Zone graphic novels. And, I knew the cover was freaking gorgeous. That was enough for me.

To Be Read: Bubble

One of the lovely things about reading a comic without decades of backstory is that you can just jump right in. And with Bubble, the story really gets going from page one.

Bubble tells the story of a group of young adults navigating life and side gigs and wild Imps that are constantly trying to kill them. There are alien monsters and tender roommate moments. Epic fight scenes and dating drama. Honestly, everything you could ask for.

In addition to the great story by Jordan Morris and Sarah Morgan, this book is absolutely beautiful. The illustrations are gorgeous, even when they’re depicting the gnarliest monsters. And this may be my favorite color palette I’ve ever seen in a comic. Props to Tony Cliff and Natalie Riess for that!

Bubble just came out today, so order your copy now or head to your local book store to pick one up! And let me know what you think!
