A while ago, the BBC announced Time Lord Victorious, a multi-platform Doctor Who experience. It unites the Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Doctor, as well as Rose Tyler. It unites all of the BBC’s licensees to tell a massive story.

Titan Comics hosted a panel for Comic-Con@Home to tell us more about it, and I watched it! I’m very excited to share some of the details shared with the audience.

The panel united Andrew Sumner of Titan Entertainment, writer Jody Houser, artist Roberta Ingranata, colorist Enrica Eren Angiolini, editor Jake Devine, senior creative editor David Leach and BBC producer James Goss. Not only did they discuss bits of the project, but they chatted about their own history with Doctor Who and their personal favorite doctors.

During the panel, different snippets of the Time Lord Victorious comics were splashed across the screen. Jody Houser shared that the comics will feature Ten and the Daleks, which is a very exciting premise for a comic series. The art and colours are beautiful, and really incites excitement for the project.

James Goss, project head, says that Time Lord Victorious will combine at least 10 different platforms and 35 different products. He also mentioned that he hopes each aspect of the project tells its own story and is accessible.

Each licensee (including Big Finish audio, Escape Rooms, and BBC Books, among others) worked hard to create their own piece of the puzzle that fits together. Not only will there be stories, but tie-in toys as well. Time Lord Victorious will begin in September, and a new part of the story will be released every week for 12 weeks.

Brittany is a massive Doctor Who fan and all around geek. Rumour says they can be summoned like Beetlejuice if you say Doctor Who three times in a row, but that may just be a joke.
