ICYMI, our Fall SGFashionFix Challenge has already begun! It runs through the entire month of October. Here are the prompts!
Our first week’s prompt was Pirates, and I wanted to share how I built a pirate outfit from pieces I already had in my closet. I figure this might be useful if you need a last minute Halloween costume or wanted to make more use out of your clothes.
It’s time for our annual Summer SG Fashion Fix Challenge!
There’s an abundance of fun and geeky things happening this summer, so we’re excited to see what everyone comes up with for all the prompts we’ve concocted. Alice and Nina are co-hosting once again, and are also taking over @sartorialgeek on Instagram to share your looks throughout the month! 😄
Week 1 (July 3-9): Beach Reads
What books are you diving into this summer? Show us what you’re reading poolside, at the beach, or in the comfort of your own home! We’d love to see your current reads and what’s on your TBR list. Feel free to put together bookish looks inspired by your favorite fictional characters too!
Week 2 (July 10-16): Cosmic Vibes
We’re stoked for the Ahsoka series to premiere in August, but Secret Invasion just recently came out and we just can’t resist an opportunity to have a space theme! What can we say? Our heads are constantly in the clouds and the stars above. This week, the sky’s not the limit! Go to infinity and beyond with characters and fandoms related to space. 🚀🌌👽🌠
Week 3 (July 17-23): Convention Couture
It’s San Diego Comic-Con week, which is basically like New York Fashion Week for us! From the casual looks of con goers and cosplayers roaming the Exhibit Hall, to the Her Universe Fashion show, and the X-Men Hellfire Gala, we’re all in for a smorgasbord of geek couture! Show off your finest casual or actual cosplays during this week.
Week 4 (July 24-31): Barbiecore
To say we’re excited for the Barbie movie is a complete understatement. So that’s why we’re dedicating the last week of our challenge to the ultimate fashion icon herself! Forget red, paint the town pink! Hot pink, rose, blush, pastel, ballet slipper, bubblegum, flamingo, Pepto Bismol — WE WANNA SEE IT ALL! Create looks based on your fave Barbie dolls or make up your own Barbiesona. 💝

Join us once again for a full month of geek inspired fashion for the Spring edition of the Sartorial Geek Fashion Fix Challenge! Our co-hosts, Alice and Nina, have prepared new prompts to fit the vibes of the season.
We can’t wait to see your looks 🤩
Week 1 (May 1-7): Galaxy
The first week of May brings us both May the 4th and Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol.3, so it was an obvious choice to celebrate all things related to the galaxy (far far away and otherwise)!
Week 2 (May 8-14): Festive Florals
Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking. But we love a good floral ‘fit here at Sartorial Geek! Show us how you mix your fave fandoms with florals.
Week 3 (May 15-21): Surf the Vibe
When we think of a beach day, we usually associate it with Summer, but why wait?! We’re surfing the beachy vibes the warm spring air is giving. Put together a fun beach look inspired by characters from your favorite fandoms!
Week 4 (May 22-31): Wes Anderson
We’re loving the Wes Anderson trend that’s been going around on TikTok, so we wanted to hop in on the fun too! You can make your own Wes Anderson-esque video, or take inspiration from one of his many films for quirky ensemble.

Welcome to the first Sartorial Geek Fashion Fix Challenge of 2023!
We loved having a full month of celebrating geek fashion during our Fall challenge last October, so we’re doing it again! Alice and Nina are back as our fashionably geeky co-hosts. They’ve whipped up some new prompts this time around, and we’re so excited to see what looks your brilliant minds put together!
The Sartorial Geek Fashion Fix Challenge is back again for Fall, but we have some tricks up our sleeves this time around. Instead of doing a short one-week challenge, we’re doing a whole month! And as a treat, we’re bringing back prizes for those who participate.
Four years ago we came up with the idea to do a month long geek fashion challenge, and its outcome has surpassed our expectations! We are so thrilled with how our community has grown with these seasonal fashion challenges, and always look forward to checking #SGFashionFix on Instagram!
Our co-hosts Nina and Alice have once again come up with weekly themes for you to show off your geeky summer style.
Spring has sprung and is still in bloom, so we’re back again for the Spring edition of our #SGFashionFix Challenge! Our style savvy co-hosts, Nina and Alice, have come up with new prompts for you to flex your creative fandom muscles with. The month of May is filled with so much geeky goodness to draw inspo from too!
Welcome to our first Fashion Fix Challenge of 2022! We’re so happy to have Nina and Alice back as co-hosts. The geeky fashionable duo have come up with a week’s worth of fun prompts for you to show off your sartorial prowess. If you don’t feel like dressing up but still want to participate, by all means please do! You can flaunt your creativity by interpreting the prompts any way you please.
All the leaves are brown and the sky is grey (at least for those of us not living on the West Coast). But you know what that means — it’s time for Sartorial Geek’s Fall Fashion Fix Challenge! This challenge will mark 2 complete years of doing these seasonal challenges — can you believe?! We’ve got Alice and Nina back on co-hosting duties, and they’ve come up with some fab themes to show off your Fall style. And don’t worry, we’ve got you Spooky season enthusiasts covered too!
If you’ve been wanting to join in on the fun, this is the perfect time to jump in 🙂
We’re currently in the middle of Sartorial Geek’s biggest annual fashion challenge—Summer #SGFashionFix—that runs all month long! This is Week 4. So we’re over half-way through, but that doesn’t mean you can’t jump in! In fact, this might be the best week for debuting your geek chic looks because the theme is about the conventions we’re missing this year due to the pandemic, like San Diego Comic Con.
