Ever since I got my Soot Sprites tattoo (from amazing Studio Ghibli movie, Spirited Away), I have been itching to make an outfit to compliment the little cuties on the back of my arm. A while back, I had worn all black with these super cute socks from Sugarbones. While I loved the outfit, I knew it wasn’t enough.

The Missing Piece
So like I said, I felt like something was missing from the outfit to put it over the edge. I had gotten a new Loungefly Spirited Away backpack with such amazing detail and knew that would definitely be added to the look. But just wearing black wasn’t working for me (for once).
That was when I found the Soot Sprite skirt from Her Universe.
The moment I laid my eyes on it, I knew it had to be mine and figured it would be perfect for this outfit!
I kept the black crop top from my original look, along with the Soot Sprite socks and black vegan docs. But this time, I changed up the skirt and bag for their newest replacements.
The skirt is a cool grey, which allows for my soot sprite friends to pop out of the skirt beautifully—their charcoal color sticking out against thee color star candies.
Also, the skirt has POCKETS! And is the perfect length—not too long or too short.
The socks have a super cute scallop hemming too, to make the long socks look even cuter.

Conclusion
Finally, this look is pretty simple so it can be worn pretty much anywhere and dressed up or down around the skirt. I feel like sneakers and some kind of baggy shirt tucked in would be a look that I’ll one day have to create! I really wanted to pair this skirt with a long sleeved black shirt, but then it would have covered the tattoo, making it nearly impossible to show these cuties off!
