But, when Wonder Woman hit theaters two summers ago, everything changed. (And not just because DC finally got a good movie.) Wonder Woman was already a role model for girls everywhere. But Diana Prince quickly became a style icon.

While Diana Prince rightfully had a lot of questions about civilian fashion at first, she adapted quickly. It wasn’t long at all before she went from donning gold-plated armor to long coats in neutral colors. But, surprising no one, she still looked amazing and managed to find the perfect balance between a wardrobe that was both functional and stylish.

Diana’s looks seamlessly adapt to the times as decades pass, but she clearly never loses her appreciation for simpler pieces. Her modern-day streetwear consists of turtlenecks, sheath dresses, and easy, slicked-back hairstyles.
And who could possibly forget that scene when she strolls up to the Louvre in high heels and that burgundy poncho? She is the perfect picture of confidence, elegance, and all kinds of badassery.
