I may have an addiction to bath and beauty products. When creators add fandom into the mix, my knees get weak and I succumb. When I saw a booth full of bath and shower products at Leaky Con in Boston earlier this year, I knew something from it was coming home with me.

What I ended up buying was the S House Soap. It is a green, vegan soap themed after Slytherin House. I have to show house pride at all moments! This lovely bar smells cool, much like us snakes; it’s full of eucalyptus and mint, which are so soothing and calming. It also has Poppy Seeds, and they are amazing exfoliators!

This is a soap that I’ve used for the past 2 months and just now finished. I use it daily (with varying degrees of pressure because exfoliation), and it lasted so long! I do think it is important to note that this is a highly exfoliating soap; if you have sensitive or thin skin, I would not recommend it. But otherwise, you need this soap. It made my showers smell so extra lovely, and I think there’s nothing better after a workout than a fresh scented scrub down.

As I mentioned before, the exfoliation game is strong on this soap. I don’t recommend using it for shaving because the poppy seeds can gunk up your razor and give you an uneven shave. But poppy seeds are a rad ingredient because they’re a natural scrubber! I’m very much here for more natural products.

Overall, I loved this soap. If you didn’t get a chance to go to Leaky, you can still check out Pop Soap’s shop! I’ve linked their website here and the S House Soap specifically here. Give them a look, and let me know what you think!

Which nerdy beauty products do you want me to try out in the new year?
