Seeing all of the different interpretations of our theme “Nerd Prom” has been incredible… cheers to another amazing day of the Sartorial Geek Fashion Fix Summer Challenge!
More “Nerd Prom” looks coming your way right… now.
We’re huge fans of Kit Cronk and her online shop Kit Cronk Studio. Her nerdy, feminist designs combine everything we love at The Sartorial Geek, and we jumped on her first Kickstarter Project: FemiNerd Enamel Pins.
We’re back with day two of the Sartorial Geek Fashion Fix challenge! The theme is still Nerd Prom, and you all are still crushing it.
It’s only day one of the Sartorial Geek Fashion Fix challenge, and we’re already overwhelmed by the amazing outfits you’re sharing online. We planned to do a roundup of geeky fashion outfits at the end of each week of the challenge (to show off all the best outfits for each of our weekly themes), but there are too many incredible posts for that. So, we’re making this a daily recap!
Sometimes I come across a new Kickstarter campaign that’s a perfect intersection of all of my interests, and the Geekfinitee campaign is exactly that. Geek fashion + Harry Potter + handmade goods couldn’t be more up my alley.
SARTORIAL GEEKS: ENSEMBLE!
Welcome to Sartorial Geek’s first ever Geek Fashion Fix Challenge, co-hosted by Nina and Alice! Throughout the entire month of July (and a bit of August), we challenge you to post a new pic of a geek themed outfit based on your favorite characters and fandoms on your Instagram account.
We’ll be sharing our favorites throughout the weeks on our Instagram. Plus, the outfits you post will win you prizes from Jordandene!

Tara Theoharis, a.k.a. The Geeky Hostess, was one of the first people I met in the geeky blogging world and has since become one of my favorite people on the planet. I am truly obsessed with throwing nerdy theme parties, and Tara’s website is such an incredible resource. Her recipes are delicious, drinks are on point, and the amount of puns is truly incredible. If you want to throw a geeky brunch, dinner, or party, The Geeky Hostess should be your first stop.

If you’ve been to a big comic con, you’ve likely seen Sideshow Collectible’s booth because it’s a highlight of every show floor. Sideshow creates the most beautiful pop culture figures ranging from sixth scale to life-sized (which are truly incredible). The attention to detail that goes into every piece is masterful, and I feel very lucky to have a few pieces from Sideshow in my own collection!
