I like makeup, I like subscription boxes, so of course I tried Ipsy.
As someone who follows the beauty community, I think about lashes a lot. I don’t have much experience with them, but they’re so pretty and I just wanted to try ’em. So I decided to go hard and buy some Glamnetic lashes.
This year has been a whole dang decade.
Are you okay? I’m exhausted. But you know what was good this year?
My makeup.
I’m a gal who likes to put a lot of things on my face. I like makeup, masks, exfoliators, hydrating packs, and a whole slew of moisturizers. But I had never tried a peel. Now, I’ve done peel off masks; those are old hat to me. But an actual peel sounds abrasive and excessive. But, I received one in a beauty box sometime last year, and finally got around to trying it this year.
I’ve been pretty big into skincare for a couple of years now, but COVID has definitely been an up-and-down time for skincare for me. I haven’t been going out, which means I haven’t been wearing makeup as often, which means that I haven’t been washing my face as often as I should. I’m pretty good about it in the morning, but by evening I’ve been getting lazy and just ignoring my face. Needless to say, my skin wasn’t doing very well.
I’m writing this in the midst of COVID-19, hoping that the future is better. But what better time than now to look through all of those masks that you’ve only used half of?
We know that I have a couple serious addictions: beauty products, books, and Disney. This soap checks off the first two wonderfully, and we need to talk about it.
I love Kesha, like, so much. So when I saw Kesha Rose Beauty on Instagram, of course I followed them. Lucky for me, I followed early enough to grab a palette right on release day! It got to my apartment really quickly, and I got to play with it within a week of ordering it.
Beauty nerds worldwide have been taking more and more steps to join in the biggest cause we have: our planet. Straws started coming into the spotlight as a problem in 2018, and I’ve been seeing new ways to reduce waste all over. So let’s dive in and save the planet!
We know that I stan a lady boss, and we are all here for some good lipsticks. So of course we’ve got to talk about Safiya Nygaard’s collaboration with ColourPop!
