Troop Zero

If you loved watching the group of misfits play pee-wee football in the 1994 film Little Giants, you’ll love the wonderfully weird Birdies Scouts in the 2019 Amazon film Troop Zero

Troop Zero takes place in a small town in rural Alabama in the ’70s. The main character, Christmas Flint, is fascinated by outer space and is often seen staring at the stars wearing an aluminum foil wrapped colander, looking to connect with anyone after the loss of her mom. When this space-obsessed 9-year-old finds out the winner of the Birdie Scout talent competition will be recorded on NASA’s Golden Record, she forms a group of spunky outcasts called Troop Zero.

Christmas Flint’s Creed

  • Take risks, even when you’re scared.
  • When ridiculed, take the high-road, respond with kindness and love.
  • Inspire and encourage girls to pursue their dreams.
  • Share the experiences of successful women to give girls the confidence to go after their goals.
