Sidewalk Furniture is an angry nerd-rock band based in Durham NC. Their first full album, “Reimagined Thrill,” released just about a year ago in April. The album features a heavy punk sound with simple yet hard-hitting riffs and fun lyrics centered around sci-fi themes that relate to real-life experiences: queer culture, feminism, and relationships.

The heart and soul of Sidewalk Furniture was conceived in 2014 by Riley (vocals), Shelby (bass), and Shante (guitar) while they attended college, and originally started out as a folk band. They were later joined by drummer Lily Fey in 2019, who aided in drastically improving their sound and message. Over the years, they’ve shared the stage with great bands such as Candy Ambulance, [SiTH] Clan, Crunk Witch, GAMMA GAMMA RAY, and many more.
