Looking for something to do while stuck in doors? Here’s a little bit of Sunshine to brighten your day!

What You’ll Need

Embroidery Floss – I use DMC Embroidery Floss but you can use whatever you might have around from other projects or that old box of stuff from summer camp. The numbers I’ll use are in parenthesis.

You’ll need 4 colors Sky Blue (DMC 996), Black (DMC 310), Yellow (DMC 973), Golden (742).

Scissors

A Safety Pin, Clipboard, or Tape – something to hold down your project to a surface for tension. I use a clipboard.

New to Alfa Patterns? Here Are Some Tips:

  • Start by cutting your 19 strings. You can use whatever color you want, I’ll probably use yellow if I want to stay within the color scheme or maybe white (B5200) or alternating colors of a rainbow.
  • Tie the strings into a knot at the top and another about 2 inches down from there. This will give you space to tie the bracelet to your wrist at the end.
  • Use the entire spool of blue to tie half 2 inch knots on each string, when you get to the end of the row you go back in the other direction.
