I’m a gal who likes to put a lot of things on my face. I like makeup, masks, exfoliators, hydrating packs, and a whole slew of moisturizers. But I had never tried a peel. Now, I’ve done peel off masks; those are old hat to me. But an actual peel sounds abrasive and excessive. But, I received one in a beauty box sometime last year, and finally got around to trying it this year.
O.R.G. Peel Face is a pretty straightforward product. Gently cleanse your face, spray it on, wait 30-45 seconds, and rub it off.
Depending on how you remove it, you can decide how much exfoliation you get (i.e. using your hands will give you less exfoliation than a washcloth). It’s kind of a breeze!
I started using this peel in late January and ran out in May. The tiny bottle I had lasted quite some time because I only used it 2-3 times a week. And honestly? I really like it.
A lot has changed in my life, both due to COVID-19 and personal choices. For one, I no longer work in an office. Now I’m a baker!
I think my skin would really appreciate it if I started using O.R.G.’s Peel again because it gave me an incredibly deep clean feeling. With my face going in and out of an oven, especially with a mask on, my skin isn’t super happy. But with the O.R.G. Peel, it was.
I had fewer breakouts (especially due to hormones) because I was getting a much deeper clean regularly. But with all of the products I currently have, I’m not quite ready to buy another peel. And at $44 a pop, it’s not highest on my list of “must buys” right now.
Everyone’s skin is different, so I can’t say for certain that everyone should try this. But I really enjoyed what it did for my skin. And, once I power through some more products, I’ll likely be ordering another bottle.
Please remember that many skin issues can be solved with diet, exercise, and regular washing. I know that my skin is happier when I wash it on my breaks, and I drink more water!
