Talk Nerdy to Me: Unusual Fandoms I Hold Dear

I have a lot of favorite fandoms, but some are a little more unusual than others. Here are the 5 unusual fandoms I love the most!

1) Pokémon

I thought Pokémon had gone the way of the dinosaurs, but I’m glad it’s making a comeback with Pokémon Go. Pokémon was my first nerdy love, and I went all in. I saved up to buy a GameBoy with my brother, battled with cards all the time, and watched the TV show religiously.

2) Murderinos

If there’s a crime show or podcast, I’m on it.

3) WicDiv

The Wicked and the Divine was the first comic book I read, and the one that made me dive head first into the obsession I now have. The art is absolutely stunning, and the story is magical.

4) Jane Austen

There are definitely people who will beat me out as the leader of the Jane Austen fan club, but I do love her stories. And honestly, one of my favorite ways to spend a Saturday is to curl up on my couch with a craft project and the original Pride & Prejudice mini series.

5) Dexter

Rounding out my serial killer obsession: Dexter. The ending was garbage, and not all of the seasons are good, but his run-in with the Trinity Killer ruined my life in all the right ways.
