Over the past two years of living through this pandemic, my husband and I have had our ups and downs. You learn a lot about a relationship when trapped together in a small NYC apartment. We had always thought that we were a strong couple, but the cracks were emphasized over this concentrated amount of time together and we realized that heated arguments would lead to bad feelings and more arguments. We needed a calmer, safer way to communicate. One way to do this was through tea dates.
I wear a lot of different hats at work, so I get asked a lot of different questions. How do I get a book published? How do I submit a story to a news website? How do I avoid being nervous when faced with my favorite celebrity? (I still don’t know the answer to that last one, sorry.) But the question I get asked most of all is: How do I get started drinking tea?
To me, the holidays are hot cocoa while snuggled under blankets watching the snow fall. It’s also a fantastic time for shopping for fun and quirky gifts for friends and family.
