I love having long nails. When I worked a desk job, I fluctuated between going to a salon and using press ons. But COVID made salons impossible, and a career change made long nails beyond difficult to keep up. So when I took a week for myself last month, I did my nails to celebrate!

SUVA Beauty Dyecuts: Press on Nails Review

My friend Ashley (aka NerdyLipstick) ordered a mystery box from Suva Beauty and received two packages of their dyecuts in it (along with other things). Since she doubted she’d use the nails, she gave them to me!

Applying these nails took about 20 minutes. I followed the instructions to a T: removed my polish, wiped my nails, pushed back my cuticles, and sized out the nails.

After popping them on, I waited a bit, filed them into an almond shape, and fell in love.

I think if I had more time off of work, these may have lasted even longer. Since I only needed a week’s worth of wear, they were perfect. They’re gorgeous—I was complimented on them by strangers, which felt pretty dang cool.

While I brought my nail glue with me, I didn’t need to use it, which is great.

I didn’t have any issues with them popping off or breaking at all! Many nails that I’ve tried out have that issue.

I usually use Static Nails for my DIY manicure, but am looking forward to using another set of Suva Nails. I would recommend the ones that I used for just a week. While they didn’t chip or snap off, they did have some scratches on them by the time I took them off.

Since a package of these nails is only $12, I think they’re kind of perfect. They elevated the way I felt and looked on vacation, won’t break the bank, and last pretty dang well.

If you’re looking into fake nails, these are worth a shot!
