This week we are so excited to introduce you to blogger, artist, and mental health advocate Weird Louise, aka Angela.

Founded in 2018, Angela’s blog Weird Louise is dedicated to empowering, inspiring, and educating readers about healthily coping with anxiety, self-esteem, and negative self-talk as well as celebrating all things geeky.

The multi-award nominated lifestyle blog covers everything from the power of journaling and its link to mental health wellness to geeky DIYs (hello, 8-Bit felt Christmas ornaments!) to a recipe corner dedicated to healthy and flavorful vegetarian and vegan recipes.

Angela also has her own small business: The Socially Awkward Club.

Founded in May 2019, The Socially Awkward Club was inspired by Angela’s experience with Aspergers in the workplace. A shop and a community, The Socially Awkward Club specializes in selling apparel and accessories that spread positive awareness about social anxiety, autism, and reclaiming the title of being an introvert. After all, one of the driving forces behind The Socially Awkward Club is Angela’s firm belief that “being quiet or awkward isn’t something [that needs] to be fixed.”
