This week we hop onto the Hogwarts Express to get to know the radiant Ravenclaw, cosplayer, and magical lifestyle blogger Simply Potter Girl!

With one foot in the muggle world working a day job as an accountant, and another in the fantastical realm of the wizarding world, Simply Potter Girl has established herself as one of the brightest witches of her age on Instagram, YouTube, and beyond.

True to the qualities of Ravenclaw house, Simply Potter Girl has an inimitable wittiness and an effervescent personality that makes her an absolute joy to be around. Quick to crack a joke, and even quicker to unleash encouraging and thoughtful comments to her many followers, Simply Potter Girl has established herself as one of the most authentic Potterheads around.

In the wizarding world community and beyond, Simply Potter Girl lives by the motto, “Make every day magical.” It’s this mantra, and her belief in embracing and being unafraid of imperfections, that casts a powerful sort of magic that forever changes everyone who meets her, bringing love and lumos into their life.

So let’s apparate over to Hogsmeade, grab a pint of Butterbeer from The Three Broomsticks, and get to know this week’s Sartorial Geek of the Week: Simply Potter Girl!

Sartorial Geek of the Week: Simply Potter Girl

Name: Brandy.

Alter Ego: Simply Potter Girl.

Top Fandom: My top fandom is definitely Harry Potter!

Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw

Ilvermorny House: Mine is Wampus, which is such a unique word.

Fictional Style Icon: 1000% Luna Lovegood! I love a colorful queen who is brave enough to rock her own, un-defined style. And I also appreciate that she makes a lot of her own clothing and accessories!

Last Read: I’m currently reading through The Witcher series. I’m on Blood of Elves. Although admittedly, it’s taken a bit of a hiatus for the past month since Animal Crossing came into my life.

Favorite Comfort Film: That’s a great question. Any time I’m feeling down, I can usually find solace in any one of the Harry Potter movies (shocking, right). Especially any where the group is a little younger. They just really bring me to a magical place.

First Fictional Crush: Oh gosh, I honestly can’t remember!

How about a current Fictional Crush?: Oooo current fictional crush is definitely Geralt. I love his outcast attitude! He understands how people view him, pays no mind to it, and continues about his business.

2020 Cosplay or Outfit Goals: I don’t have any cons left for this year, but I’m planning on getting some cosplays completed for next year so I’m not con crunching for once. I’m building out a Thestral (I have a small skeletal horse that’s been sitting in my closet since Halloween) to do a forest Luna cosplay! I’ve also been super into Avatar and Animal Crossing lately so I want to get a gender-bent Uncle Iroh and Daisy Mae done, too.
