With how long I’ve been stuck inside, I’m beginning to feel like Rapunzel at the beginning of Tangled. In fact, I’ve 100% gone around my house singing “When Will My Life Begin”. While I was doing that I couldn’t help but think this would be the perfect time to do a Rapunzel inspired makeup look. I’m in the process of moving during all of this and don’t have access to all my makeup, so I did the best I could with what I have.

I started by using a moisturizer that gave me a little bit of a glow. To bump the look up to maximum glow, I also put on liquid highlighter under my foundation and concealer. I added setting powder before moving on to my brows. I also used an eyeshadow primer with a gold tint as a base for my eyes.

Next, I used a lovely pink loose pigment all over my eyelids. It has a bit of sparkle to it, which is great for a princess-y look.

Rapunzel loves purple as well, so I added some of the lighter shade along my lower lash line and the darker purple into my eye crease.

Because of the sun motif in Tangled, I wanted to add some gold in here. To achieve this look, I pressed a gold shadow into the inner corners of my eyes.

I then added eyeliner and mascara to give me big, princess-y eyes.

Rapunzel has rosy cheeks, so I added some blush. I added a pink highlighter on my cupid’s bow and a gold highlighter to my cheekbones.

As a finishing touch, I used the Flynn shade of lux liquid lipstick from the Colourpop Disney Midnight Masquerade collection. This was such a fun look to do, even if the only living creatures that got to see it were my pet rats.
