Casual cosplay: we know it, we love it, we’ve definitely all tried it by now. (Right? Just let me have this.)

This week, I put together a few casual cosplay looks inspired by some of our favorite heroes. Let’s just jump right into it, shall we?

Peter Parker, Spider-Man

Casual Cosplay

It has to be nearly impossible to not have fun with a Spidey cosplay, no matter how you do it. With bright primary colors and spidery details, almost anything inspired by Peter Parker will channel his youthful exuberance. Plus, I’m here for anything that allows me to wear (or gives me an excuse to buy) a cute pair of sneakers.

Jyn Erso, Rogue One

Casual Cosplay

Say it with me, everyone: neutrals don’t have to be boring. In fact, Jyn Erso is the perfect example of that. Her outfit plays with different textures and colors while still sticking to a neutral palette, making for an outfit that is visually stimulating without being too flamboyant. Jyn also is a great choice for beginner cosplayers because her outfit is actually casual and not a huge commitment. (And it certainly helps that this just so happens to be the perfect fall outfit. Once again, layers are here to save the day!)

Diana Prince, Wonder Woman

Casual Cosplay

Red, blue, and gold all over. Seriously, not only is a Wonder Woman casual cosplay so easy, but it’s also so much fun. On top of it all, this just makes a really cute summer convention outfit! Now, excuse me while I go search for a pair of those star-printed shorts in my size because they’re too cute to pass up.
