Drumroll, please… we’re so excited to announce that our second Kickstarter project is live!
The Sartorial Geek was founded two and a half years ago by college besties Liz Crowder Serota and Jordan Ellis (of Jordandené). Last year, in an attempt to highlight some of our favorite nerdy artists and brands, we created The Sartorial Geek Boutique. SG Boutique traveled to comic cons all over the country and showcased geeky merchandise from creators who couldn’t be there in person. We were hoping to grow SG Boutique this year, but alas 2020 had other plans.
The Sartorial Geek is a community for the geek in all of us. We focus on pop culture, girl power, and unique stories through articles written by cool people, for cool people. Be sure to check out our blog, podcast, community of fellow Sartorial Geeks, and print magazine!
Stay nerdy,
In honor of Mother’s Day, here is the Sartorial Geek’s list of top 20 fictional parental figures we’re obsessed with. Sending a big, IRL shout-out to all the mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, friends, et. al. out there who take care of their fellow humans (and animals). You’re the real MVPs.
One of my favorite things about running this blog is that it’s part of my job to know when cool nerdy things are happening. One of those cool nerdy thing? The Kickstarter campaign for Wash Day.
When something pops up in my newsfeed more than three times, I have to take notice. The day Wash Day‘s Kickstarter campaign launched, I saw it everywhere.
The Team Behind The Sartorial Geek
Meet Jordan and Liz, the editorial team behind The Sartorial Geek: a nerdy publication highlighting cool stories by cool people.
Jordan Ellis runs Jordandene, a geeky home goods and apparel brand. Liz, a law librarian in her muggle life, is our resident creative literary genius.
