As a genderfluid person, getting dressed is the biggest hassle out there. While I’ll occasionally want to dress up in magnificent dresses like Blair Waldorf, sometimes I’ll want to be so masculine, but I never know quite how. Or at least, I used to not know how.

I have found THE male style icon. Sure, he’s not pushing fashion boundaries, but when you’re already confused about what to put on and need a sense of direction, it’s nice to have a simple, but elegant and bad-ass man with sense of style to push you in the right direction. That man is Sebastian Stan.

I’ve been following his career for a very long time now, before he was part of the MCU, even. And one thing he has always done: dress well.

He can pull off anything he wears beautifully, but I have taken my casual style from him for the most part. His fashion moments that are just him in a leather jacket are more than enough to inspire me.

Even his suits are out of this world. They’re so simple and elegant, but so well tailored to him. Ever since I started taking style tips from him, and presenting myself in the confident but effortless way that he does, I have begun to feel better about myself.

While some people may think it’s ridiculous, I can’t help but feel grateful. His quiet statements of fashion are now my go-to when I need to feel good about myself. His acting skills, his performances that I feel close to, his personality, and his clothing choices have all inspired me to be a better version of myself.
