A Long Island-based cosplayer of nearly six years, Sophia, or Alana Knight as she’s called on the fan convention circuit, is known for her bold and versatile cosplays.
An official representative for groups like Geek E Magazine, Game Girls Central, and Muses 2.0, Sophia shares that cosplaying “pushes me to be creative . . . think outside of the box, [and] helps encourage me to be more outgoing.”
She has nothing but good things to say about “the opportunity to be a part of such an amazing community” and the magic of that “a-ha!” moment, “when you find the right people, click with them, and bond over a mutual love of something people don’t ordinarily go crazy for as much as we do.”
