There is so much to love about Catastrophe, from the irreverent chemistry between co-stars and co-creators Rob Delaney (yes, that guy from Twitter) and Sharon Horgan, to the truly cynical take on the modern rom-com. The unsung hero among all of this is the wardrobe that so perfectly matches the messy, acerbic leading lady that comes with it. This week’s style icon is none other than Sharon Morris.

Style Icon: Sharon Morris

Sharon Morris boasts a covetable wardrobe that’s chic, sensible, and playful all at the same time. Her choices are often bold with a dash of experimental that wears well with her apathy and pitch-black sense of humor.

(Also, look at how adorable she is. Intimidating and kind of a hard-ass, but adorable nonetheless.)

Sharon loves a good print, or two, or three, and has no qualms about wearing them all together. And perhaps Sharon, the wardrobe team behind Catastrophe, and every single cool-girl Instagram account you’ve ever stumbled across were on to something, considering clashing prints made several appearances on Spring/Summer ’18 runways. She was ahead of the game!

Does anyone actually look this good hungover? Because I don’t, that’s for sure.

And if you think I’m not going to try and steal this neon animal print look this spring, you’re wrong. Who can find me the deets on those adorable green ankle booties?

What I love most about Sharon’s outfits is the youthful exuberance they channel. Growing up, having a career, and embracing motherhood (despite being terrified)  never meant sacrificing that. If she can have it all, she’s going to. And then she’s going to have a drink or three.

You can stream seasons 1-3 of Catastrophe on Amazon Prime now (and if you need another reason to, I’ll give you one: Carrie Fisher plays Rob’s mother in the most Carrie Fisher way possible.)

Loving Sharon’s style as much as I am? Then you’ll also love our OG style icon, Rainbow Johnson.
