Nerd makeup, it’s a thing!

During our trip to Seattle for Emerald City Comic Con, we got to visit Espionage Cosmetics HQ and sit down with their owner and Glitter Jedi, Jaimie Cordero, to chat all things nerd makeup.

One of the first things Jaimie says about Espionage Cosmetics is that it isn’t quite the business she expected to have, because it’s so much bigger and so much better. Espionage’s first product line (The Browncoats Collection) came about as a response to the devastating news that Firefly actually only has one season. It sold out at its first con and has since exploded into the glittery empire it is today.

Espionage Browncoats

At the heart of Espionage Cosmetics is the desire to change the beauty industry. Not exactly known for being the most welcoming, kind, or diverse industry, Espionage is working hard to change that. They’re the cosmetics company for people who don’t fit in with other cosmetics companies. And as two homeschooled kids, Jaimie and I understand a little bit about not fitting in.

The world needs more feminine, geeky versions of all of its industries, and we’re so glad Espionage has filled one of those gaps.

Please look for them at your next convention and hang out with them at espionagecosmetics.com and all over the Internet.

Have a great week, and stay nerdy.
