Ahsoka Tano has become one of my favorite Star Wars characters. It all started with my first watch of The Clone Wars about three or four years ago in prep for Star Wars Celebration in Orlando. Since then, I thought Snips was one of the coolest girls in the galaxy. I wanted to emulate her in my lightsaber combat and my day to day life.
Geek, Sporty, Chic
I wore this outfit for May the 4th, which I spent at home (due to quarantine and staying safe). I also streamed the classic Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast on twitch.tv/infinityjules. (Which is a new adventure of mine, so definitely come hang out sometime!)
I also used my custom made lightsaber from Galaxy’s Edge! I added the rancor tooth at the bottom as a special shout out to my other fave character, Asajj Ventress (see that sporty outfit here).
Braided Lekku
My favorite part of this outfit was actually my hair. I came up with the idea based on Ashley Eckstein’s Ahsoka look from a few years ago. Her look used the same style of braids with added blue strands to replicate Ahsoka’s beautiful Lekku. I did these braids in the same manner, and I am just totally in love with this look.
Ahsoka Tank From Her Universe & Accessories
The tank top I wore is from Her Universe’s newest Clone Wars collection. The collection features super comfy activewear. This piece in particular is based on Ahsoka’s newest look from season 7, the final season of The Clone Wars. The top is just so comfortable and flattering, and I found that I absolutely adore this kind of neckline.
For the accessories, I wore a super delicate and pretty rebel alliance necklace from Box Lunch. I also wore this red Kyber crystal necklace (just to show off my Sithy side). I received this item as a gift so I’m not sure where it came from!
The necklaces also perfectly matched the top as the Kyber crystal perfectly fell on the crystal-shaped design and the rebel necklace fell right above the neck seam.
For the pants, I just wore my favorite pair of leggings since I was chilling at home. I also wore my white Adidas Ultraboosts to round out and brighten the look.
The Cardigan
This cardigan is utterly amazing. And surprisingly, it’s not intentionally meant to be Ahsoka merch. I found this sweater through Anakin and His Angel’s Blog and Instagram. She found the piece on Amazon, and I knew I needed to have it as soon as I saw it.
The cardigan was perfect for wearing at home. Even though the look was sporty, this cardigan softened it up and rounded out the look completely.
Conclusion
I still can’t believe that The Clone Wars is officially over. It was an amazing ride, and the final season was totally beautiful. I’ll miss Ahsoka, and I look forward to her next appearance in the Star Wars universe.
The world has been a little crazy lately, and I think we could all learn a little for Ahsoka. Her sense of justice and morality is impeccable, and she truly is an icon for us all.
